Day 299

Another difficult day - can't get no sleep

I had to speak to someone today. I only got my head down twice for 2 hours each yesterday, and I'm starting to feel like I'm on the edge of a nervous breakdown.
My body just won't go past the two hours. My core feels like it's vibrating. I can feel I am so close to being hysterical when I speak to people. The rush of endorphins I get after breastfeeding turn me into a manic person. I need to calm down.
Went to speak to my midwife and she told me to get straight onto my GP. She advised the GP kihtm be able to help with sleep, and that I should probably be examined for anxiety issues too.
Whilst waiting in the reception for the GP, I started to get awful pains in my abdomen. I then had to start dealing with wind and constipation.
The doctor gave me lactulose for the latter to help me go to the toilet without climbing the walls sxreaming, and anti histamines to make me drowsy so I might actually get some sleep.

Please, let me get some sleep.

Prior to my prescription sleeping pills, I drank Tulsi Sleep Tea before bed. Maybe? :)

I will certainly look into this, thank you! Now I am naturally waking up every 2 hours to a grumbly baby, I know why my body was doing it to me, though it didn't help when baby wasn't home with us at the time! Xx
