I can't do coffee or energy drinks. I'm so small that just a few sips skyrockets my anxiety and leaves my body visibly shaking. So, when I went to Starbucks this morning and got a "tall" London Fog, I thought I'd be okay - I drink earl grey tea at home. It's never caused an issue.
I don't know what kind of tea Starbucks uses, but WOW. Holy crap my head is spinning, I'm jumpy, and even my coworkers have noticed that I'm wired. My muscles are so tense, my hands are shaking, and my brain is thinking faster than my fingers can type. Why do people do this to themselves willingly?! Or is what I'm experiencing abnormal? Maybe it's because I'm already naturally anxious, and it's just been amplified.
I wonder if I'll feel an energy crash later. Hoping not. Too much to do!
