Day 3

Let's fight this.

Kurzgesagt, a science channel published a video on an antidote to dissatisfaction (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPPPFqsECz0).

It presents how gratitude probably evolved in our biology and how most scientific evidence says we can reprogram our brain to be less... dissatisfied.

So let's see. I'm supposed to write down a few things I'm grateful for, about 2-3 times a week.

Ok. I'm grateful for:

1. My job
2. The burger i ate for dinner
3. That I can play some music
4. That I can drive my motorcycle
5. A Tinder chatmate that I've been friends with for almost a year

Adding this gratitude thing to regular exercise that's supposed to lift my mood. And a little coffee. Let's see how this goes.

I have a religious community I belong to (very diverse and radically progressive, deity is optional) and each week we practice "modeem ahnachnu lach....", "we are grateful" and share the life transformative things that have happened that week, big or small. My gratitude is that I went to a physical therapist today who gave me exercises to get my pain under control.....
