Yet another public holiday with time off work bolted on the beginning of the week.
I had never really noticed how much Easter, just like Xmas, is aimed at families. Why? It's not like it had a tradition when I was a kid it was then about faith and eggs. I suppose a reason had to take the place of faith and family means a bigger opportunity for sales.
Although it's far from fair on those without family but singles count for nothing.
As for me the non-sharing of time is a killer. A Catch 22 of happenstance, time alone to plan for another day spent in the company of coffee and people gazing as they pass like stars on the other side of the glass. An apt metaphor if ever there was one haha
