New Adventure: The PS4 Arrives....
I played video games in the VERY early days (I had the original GameBoy and loved Tetris and Super Mario games) and then got into the Wii (which I got for my son as an Xmas present when he was 10 years old.) I got pretty good at a lot of the games, but then got into other things, so really haven't kept up.
YoungSon is 21 now, and has been playing these games for years, and he's been telling me about different ones I might like, as they are "beautiful" and really interesting, way beyond the first person shooters we all associate with these games.
I decided that I must be missing out on something, so I bought myself a PS4, which arrived yesterday. I wasn't going to let my son set it up, because I wanted to show him that his 60 year old dad understood technology every bit as well as he did.
Which wasn't all that hard; I put all the cables in, fired the thing up (it took me a little bit to find the actual power switch), set up an account and am now downloading my first game.
Can't wait to see what he says....
