No Sympathy on Easter - Part 1
Honeybun has an older brother, Bear. Almost 3 years ago he got Raven pregnant (she was 18) and now they have a beautiful toddler. Last year they got married the day after Raven's 21st birthday. There is a 10 year age difference between the two, and while that works fine for some, Raven is still so young and desperate for attention. She seems to have been in the moody emo-phase of posting melodramatic quotes to social media for the last year and countless selfies making seductive faces. She's gorgeous, and she knows it, but more importantly - she wants other people to know it.
I've been trying to be a good mentor to her over the last 3 years, and she has come to see me as an older sister. I've always tried to help her through her constant bouts of "depression" (I only use quotations because sometimes it seems like yet another attention grab) and have always been empathetic.
Today at Honeybun's mother's house, Raven locked herself in a room to cry during the Easter egg hunt. I went to check on her, and after a while she confided: She's been cheating and got caught. The whole family knows.
