Who knows? I'm 59 years old and a "retirement specialist" at my bank asked me when I intended to retire. I said that I felt pretty confident I could probably work another 15 - 20 years. He looked at me and said, "Sir, that means you wouldn't retire until you're 75 or 80....." "Oh," I replied, "that sounds pretty good to me...."

Yes but have you any savings/pension
Do you not want to live by the Sea , in the Sun? Do you have dreams ?
Or do you want to stay on the treadmill work. Wage and existing not just living ...

Believe me, Bette, my work is anything but a treadmill: I get to spend my days with the most interesting population in the world: young people. I can't tell you how much pleasure I derive from sitting and talking about mathematics, whether that is a 5 year old or a 35 year old..... I have plenty of money at this point, and I'm living my dream NOW: I travel, have plenty of time to sit in the sun, play the guitar, bounce a basketball or have delicious sex with the WID. So I'm not really "existing." Of course, I was lucky: I picked a profession that I love, found a wonderful place to work (after 25 years of wandering), and managed my finances carefully. It wasn't all so smooth, but now I'm very content.
