Day 580

The Only Time I'm Happy Is When They're Not Around...

I have nobody to tell this to; my friends and family are all jealous that I'm away in France, and the Facebook manifesto is to make it all look so happy and great. So I come here to really show what it's like...

It's unendurable, 24 hours a day. There are times of actual relaxation, but it's only when they're not around. Today I went shopping and instead stopped off at the beach, sat in the shade and wrote in my journal. I took a drive to the market and wandered around buying all sorts of stuff, observing people as they shopped, and just enjoying the freedom of not having anybody bother me.

As soon as I got home, it was all over: I tell DaughtersMother that I stopped off on way to market to see fish stall, and she asks why I didn't buy fish... well, because then it would have sat in a hot car for an hour.... then she starts running off about something, and I'm completely confused trying to follow her train of tortured logic.

I wish she would just go away and leave me alone for the next 4 days and the rest of my life.
