Here I go again: a really fun and interesting date...
I saw her profile on OkC and she looked very cute with her glasses, toothy smile, holding a slice of green pumpkin over her head. We exchanged a few messages, learned that we don't live all that far from one another, and then had an entertaining convo on the phone.
We met up on Friday afternoon, right after she finished work. We sipped some beers, compared our health issues (she's 47 and has already had 2 strokes)(and yes, that makes her 13 years younger than me, okay?)
At one point she yawned and I smiled at her and said, "Oh, I can see you're tired; you won't hurt my feelings if you wanted to go home and rest....." and she flopped herself over the bar and I rubbed her shoulder. She took my hand and held it for a while as we talked some more.
It was 3:15 when we met; at 8 pm, she said, "oh, I really need to sleep...." How did nearly 5 hours go by so effortlessly?
We texted a while when she got home; we're going to meet up in Coney Island on Black Friday to stroll the beach, grab some lunch and maybe kiss some more?
