Day 342

Its another crappy day. My 'boss' is a woman, on the verge of having a tantrum everytime you talk to her! I'm tired and demoralised. I don't need the door slammed every time we interact and I'm tired of the posturing going on at work.I'm just loosing the will to live, today.
But I can look around and see how lucky i really am. I can afford to eat and keep warm, I'm loved and I'm healthy. That's all we really need.
But sometimes you find yourself asking, 'why do I bother '

Is there anything else you can do?

Is there a job which would make working worthwhile?

Sometimes you need to put up your sail and find out what is out there, I don't mean that you have to give up your current job, but it might be worth looking around. What fires up Rodeo?

I agree with WD. If your not sure what you want to do, look at some evening or online courses. You might find something that really suits you. Xx

WD, that's what scares rodeo. At the mo there is nothing that really fires me, apart ftom protecting my home time. As an Engineer, you had ti stayat work until the problem was fixed. Which could be fun, but affects home time. Working in the staid NHS, i just say the problem is above my pay grade and have the same appalling attitude as everyone else (there is no such thing as reward and recognition, so there's no point extending yourself!).
But, I DO have a job, and I am healthy,:there are worst things that could happen.
Thank you, WD and have a good day (in thr gardening centre, ha ha) xx

We carry on in the hope that things will get better.

Much as I did in my marriage.

In my work, the project is not stimulating, but another one will come along.

Perhaps it is time to put feelers out for possible positions elsewhere?
